Former VENOM Frontman TONY DOLAN To Be Featured In Upcoming Books, On Retrospective DVDs

August 8, 2005

Former VENOM/MANTAS and current ATOMKRAFT bassist/vocalist Tony Dolan's web site has been updated with the following message from Dolan's webmaster:

"Tony is to feature in two more books to be released this year. The first is by legendary NWOBHM [journalist] John Tucker. The book, called 'Suzie Smiled', is scheduled for and end of summer release and is a from-their-own-mouths history of the NWOBHM in the 1980s. The second is a look into SLAYER from the people who they met along the way to being 'THE' extreme band of their generation. More details to follow when I have them but the book will be out 2005.

"Tony has been interviewed and will feature on two more DVDs of music retrospectives, namely GREEN DAY and U2. They will be out in the autumn and I will endeavour to do as usual and post the covers and all release info I get, should you be interested in these?!

"Tony has just completed presenting more series for Classic Rock Direct. 'The Rolling Stones', 'The Beatles' and 'The Ramones' will be released after the summer. We will keep you imformed and I will publish covers so you know what you're looking for should you be interested. These are added to the 'Deep Purple' release currently being edited."
