HALLOWS EVE's STEWART Comments On CLASSIC METAL FEST Appearance

May 18, 2005

Bassist/vocalist Tommy Stewart of the reunited Atlanta-based thrashers HALLOWS EVE has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"The Classic Metal Fest [on] May 14th, '05 kicked ass! I especially enjoyed meeting so many people who I have only known through the Internet or bands I have known purely from their music. I especially enjoyed Skullator appearing as 'Turdman' with our friends GARLY-LOO and falling down a lot during that one. Security confiscated our giant turd, remember that! I also enjoyed the brutallity of NECRODEMON, the keyboards of HERALDRY, the vocals of ROTTWEILER, The general performance of UNEARTHED, ATTACKER, and BLOODFEAST. It was a long time coming to see some of you. Breakfast with Dr. Mastermind. That slow dude at the office at the motel and his crappy breakfast. Lynette and Cortney and The Book. I'll never forget playing fifty percent of our show with two broke basses with three strings each and mostly, the main thing I'll remember is all of you singing every word of 'Lethal Tendancies' with us to the point that you were louder than us! That's just so cool! Thanks forever guys..."

HALLOWS EVE recently completed work on their fourth album, "Evil Never Dies", at Van Gogh Studios in Atlanta with co-producer Chris Gailfoil.

"Evil Never Dies" follows the release of a two-track single, "Evil Offerings", which was recorded at Van Gogh Studios last year.

The single, the group's first official release in 16 years, featured founding members Stewart on bass and vocals, and Skullator on guitar and lead vocals, along with Brandon Ottinger on guitar and Dane Jensen on drums.

"Evil Offerings" contains the following cuts: "Technicolour Roadkill" and "Looking Glass".
