HAREM SCAREM Set European Release Date For 'Overload'

March 9, 2005

Canadian melodic rockers HAREM SCAREM will release their new album, "Overload", in Europe on May 16 via Frontiers Records.

With regards to the musical direction of the band's tenth studio album, singer Harry Hess stated, "The new album includes moments of classic HAREM SCAREM," but also some "...crazy guitar stuff", adding that in parts it's "really heavy."

New elements have been added to the recording. "Baritone guitars were used in a lot of the songs," explains Hess. "This gave a different flavor to not only the songwriting but also to the sound of the guitars. I really sang a lot of these songs at the top of my range!"

"Overload" final track listing:

01. Dagger (mp3 sample)
02. Afterglow (mp3 sample)
03. Rise & Fall (mp3 sample)
04. Don't Come Easy
05. Can't Live With You
