Japan's GUNSHIP666 To Release New Album This Summer

March 26, 2007

Japanese metal band GUNSHIP666 is putting the finishing touches on a new record for an early summer release. It will be a box set featuring ten songs, a two-hour DVD, a bumper sticker, and a GUNSHIP666 patch. In addition, one in ten copies will be hand-signed.

According to a press release, "GUNSHIP666 has long-standing ties with Acey Slade [ex-MURDERDOLLS], SLIPKNOT and MARYLIN MANSON. In fact, Corey Taylor (SLIPKNOT, STONE SOUR) is often seen in his GUNSHIP666 T-shirt. The extrodinary [GUNSHIP666] guitarist, who is female, Masami, was going to audition for MARILYN MANSON after the departure of John 5, but instead kept GUNSHIP666 alive and underground as it developed its sound, secured a Krank Amps endorsment and is now ready for world domination."
