August 16, 2011

Keith Mina (formerly Keith Caputo),who has helped to create some of the most influential hard-rock music of the 1990s with her bandmates in LIFE OF AGONY, and who continues to create and perform stirring and powerful music with her projects THE NEPTUNE DARLINGS and THE SAD-EYED LADIES, will appear on "Naughty Bits" with Heather Height and Aden Ardennes on Brickhouse Radio this Tuesday, August 16. The show begins at 6 p.m. ET. Keith will be discussing her recent transition from male to female, what this transition has meant to her physically and emotionally, her position as a role model for other transgendered individuals, and her music, past present and future!

"Naughty Bits" is a sex advice talk show hosted by Heather Height and Aden Ardennes. Heather Height is a stand-up comedian who has performed at comedy clubs and theaters throughout the United States. She has also appeared on "The Opie & Anthony Show" on SiriusXM satellite radio. Aden Ardennes is currently studying to be a sex and relationship therapist.

During an appearance on "DeadDave's Internet Radio Show" in early June, Keith spoke about LIFE OF AGONY's future plans, stating, "We realize that LIFE OF AGONY has become an extremely nostalgic act and the music that used to not be dated, in our eyes, is dated, and the whole situation is dated. It's a nostalgia, and we don't want to take advantage of that nostalgia anymore, nor do we wanna take advantage of the fans. We've got three shows this year and it's probably gonna be the last shows that we do for a very long time. In fact, we just may call it quits. Because we feel like we set out to do what we needed to collectively. We're very honest people, we love each other dearly, but we just can't get it on; we can't turn each other on in the studio. We hit a brick wall together, and it ain't cool. So there's probably not gonna be a new [LIFE OF AGONY] album, nor a new single So people better start getting used to [the 2005 album] 'Broken Valley', because that's probably the last piece of music that they'll hear from the band."
