LIMP BIZKIT Come A Rollin' Into Traverse City

July 25, 2003

Melanie Tacoma of Michigan's Traverse City Record-Eagle is reporting that Traverse City resident Jennifer Krause and several staffers from a local restaurant met and partied with LIMP BIZKIT when the group anchored in Traverse City this week during a tour schedule lull.

"They told us they were driving to their next concert and had a couple of nights to relax," she said. "And they wanted to jet ski and boat."

Krause met the band through a friend, a hostess at Mountain Jack's Steakhouse on U.S. 31 north in Acme.

The band was among a party of 13 that showed up at Mountain Jack's on Monday (July 21) and received a quick seating, though most customers averaged a 30-minute wait.

"They were pretty laid-back, very professional," said Pete Solomonson, manager at Mountain Jack's. He added that the band came back to the restaurant the next night.

"They had a couple of days off between functions and told their manager they wanted to come to Traverse City and just get away for whatever reason," he said. Read more.
