MEMFIS To Support SATYRICON In Scandinavia

Swedish progressive metal band MEMFIS will support SATYRICON on the following Scandinavian dates:

Nov. 19 - Kåren - Gothenburg, Sweden
Nov. 21 - Klubben - Stockholm, Sweden
Nov. 22 - Prisma - Västerås, Sweden
Nov. 23 - KB - Malmö, Sweden
Nov. 24 - Voxhall - Århus, Denmark
Nov. 25 - The Rock - Copenhagen, Denmark
Nov. 27 - Nöjesfabriken - Karlstad, Sweden

MEMFIS has posted its video for the song "The Wind-Up" at this location. The track is the title cut of the band's debut CD, which recently entered the Swedish album chart at position No. 20.

MEMFIS was founded in the spring 2003 in Kristinehamn, Sweden. Two demos were recorded in 2004 and resulted in top-rated reviews and a co-operation with Dental Records.

In a recent interview, Swedish producer/multi-instrumentlist Dan Swanö (EDGE OF SANITY, BLOODBATH, PAN THY MONIUM) praised MEMFIS as a "really, really good band" that "must be checked out by fans of OPETH and similar."
