MOONSPELL Cancel Chilean Gig

Portugal's MOONSPELL were forced to cancel their previously-announced show in Chile after the promoter for the gig went AWOL less than two weeks prior to the band's scheduled performance in the country.

"We got word from our management that the promoter for the Chilean show of 'Darkness and Hope' tour is nowhere to be found," states a message on the band's web site. "For the last two weeks our management tried to contact him by all means possible yet all tentatives were fruitless. So the flight tickets were not booked and MOONSPELL is not presenting the 'D&H' show this time around in Chile. We are obviously desolate yet we promise to keep on trying to go there with all our efforts and that we can repeat the Chilean experience very soon."
