NOTHNEGAL Hard At Work On New Material

October 31, 2009

Maldivian metallers NOTHNEGAL have issued the following update:

"As you may have noticed, recently there have been almost no updates or any news by NOTHNEGAL. We have been busy with writing new material for our debut album which would be recorded soon for a release in 2010. This would be our first recording with the new lineup and instead of continuing from the point we left with [the 2009 EP] 'Antidote of Realism', we have decided to focus on creating the actual NOTHNEGAL sound this time which we will be revealing more details of the album. There would be no live dates before the album. Apart from that, we recently re-recorded 'Web of Deceit' from our previous EP with Kevin [Talley; DAATH, MISERY INDEX, CHIMAIRA] drumming and Marco [Sneck; POISONBLACK, KALMAH, CHARON] doing the keyboards again, right now its being mixed by producer Mark Lewis. This was done for the fans of the EP and to test the sound of the new lineup. We will also be releasing the trailer for the long- delayed video 'Web of Deceit' on our YouTube channel and MySpace."

NOTHNEGAL's "Antidote of Realism" EP was self-released by the band earlier this year. The CD was produced by Anssi Kippo, who has previously worked with CHILDREN OF BODOM and NORTHER, among others.
