ORPHANED LAND To Play Russia With TURISAS, DARK LUNACY

February 13, 2008

Israel's ORPHANED LAND will team up with Finland's TURISAS (headliners) and Italy's DARK LUNACY for two shows in Russia in April:

Apr. 12 - Moscow (RUS) - Tochka
Apr. 13 - St. Petersburg (RUS) - Roks

Vocalist Kobi Farhi of ORPHANED LAND is currently working on his debut book called "A Tango Between God & Satan". The book will contain personal stories and adventures from Kobi's childhood, from his world travels, and, of course, some stories from his adventures with ORPHANED LAND.

ORPHANED LAND is continuing work on its fifth album, "ORwarriOR", due later in the year.

"After the huge sucsess of the album 'Mabool', you should expect no less than another masterpiece!" Kobi Farhi previously said. "The album will not be 'Mabool Vol. 2'. As you might know, we always like to bring something new and we like to expiriment new instruments and ideas, so this new album is something else, and so far we love what we wrote very much!"

Fan-filmed video footage of ORPHANED LAND performing at the Metal Healing Festival in Greece in July 2007 can be viewed below.
