PENTACLE Guitarist Sidelined Due To Arm Injury

August 16, 2005

Long-running Dutch death metallers PENTACLE have posted the following message on their official web site:

"PENTACLE has some bad news to announce. Guitar player Mike [Verhoeven] has suffered an injury on his right arm. It has happened some months ago and although he tried to rehearse and play some gigs, it didn't work out as planned as there's little progress. According to the doctor it takes half to one year at least to heal. For now, this means total rest for his arm. Because there is a high risk of permanent damage to his right arm, Mike has decided to take a rest until the end of this year. All gigs will continue as planned, but without Mike. In the meantime, PENTACLE will perform as a three-piece (again) and started the search for a suitable replacement for Mike's absence."

PENTACLE's latest album, "Under the Black Cross", was released earlier in the year via Iron Pegasus Records.
