Poland's INDREAD COLD Sign With BLACKDOOM RECORDS

December 11, 2003

Poland's INDREAD COLD have signed a two-album deal with BlackDoom Records, the British label co-founded by MY DYING BRIDE guitarists Andrew Craighan and Hamish Glencross.

The band, who consist of former members of DARZAMAT, MASTIPHAL, ECLIPSE and CHORT, will release their debut album, entitled "Underaba", in the beginning of 2004.

The recording sessions for "Underaba" took place between November 2002 and April 2003 at Poststreet studio in Poland. Sound engineering was handled by Szymon Struzek, who co-produced the album with INDREAD COLD guitarist Damian Kowalski. "Underaba" was re-mastered by well-known sound engineer Mags (MY DYING BRIDE) at Academy Studio in England.

BlackDoom Records have issued the following statement regarding their latest signing:

"BlackDoom Records chose INDREAD COLD to be their second signing on the depth of song structure and the feeling of truthfulness in the darkness that they were painting. We want bands that stand out as innovative and felt that INDREAD COLD are (as hard to describe as they are) stand among those clearly talented in the black arts that is needed to gain recognition by our label. Our philosophy is based on a belief unending in the quest for a darker world constructed through music, conjured in the deepest and most twisted minds metal has, INDREAD COLD sickness gives new life to this bastard idea. And so the new chapter of grimness shall begin on BlackDoom Records."
