SANCTUS DAEMONEON Signs With NEGATIVE EXISTENCE

April 25, 2009

Denmark's SANCTUS DAEMONEON has inked a deal with Negative Existence for the release of the band's new full-length album. The forthcoming CD is untitled at the moment, but will contain ten new tracks of "enchanting post-black metal."

According to a press release, SANCTUS DAEMONEON's music can be described as "unnervingly eerie, dark and refreshing experimental psychedelic rock with atmospheric ambiance. Fans of LURKER OF CHALICE, GOBLIN and DEATH IN JUNE will agree that SANCTUS DAEMONEON's music is sickly dark, psychotic and immensely bitter."

Spawned with no specific genre in mind, yet carrying elements of dark ambient, doom, soundtracks and black metal, SANCTUS DAEMONEON was created in 2006 by founding members Cyrus Paice and Corso. The goal was, is and always will be to create and unleash personal demons and project them on the fragile minds of others. The debut album, "Grey Metropolis", was written, recorded, mixed and mastered during a period of spiritual turbulence and crafted with uttermost perfection. It was released by Regimental Records in January 2008. January 2009 has brought about the release of the next bitter effort, namely the five-track album entitled "NothinglessNothingness", which came out on Dunkelkunst.
