SEVERED SAVIOR Parts Ways With Singer

December 5, 2007

Guitarist Mike Gilbert of the San Francisco-based death metallers SEVERED SAVIOR has issued the following update:

"Due to a personal issue/conflict that cannot be resolved, we have recently informed Dusty Boisjolie that he is no longer the vocalist for SEVERED SAVIOR. I will not go into the details or exact reason for his being released from the band. We are disappointed that it had to come to this. But the decision to let Dusty go was a necessary one for the survival of the band. Lastly, he will not appear on the new CD which will still come out early next year. Another important announcement will come within the next week."

SEVERED SAVIOR recently inked a new deal with Willowtip Records. The two-album deal will start with the upcoming "Servile Insurrection" 12-track CD,tentatively due in early 2008.

SEVERED SAVIOR's full-length debut, "Brutality is Law", was released in 2003. The CD was recorded at Digit Sound in San Pablo, California and was supported by tours with CANNIBAL CORPSE and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER.
