TERROR To Embark On Canadian 'Aggressive Tendencies' Tour

September 21, 2005

Los Angeles hardcore soldiers TERROR will bring their old-school assault to Canada and across the U.S. this fall. The band will be part of Canadian "Aggressive Tendencies" tour with chaos-core pioneers CONVERGE and politico-crust giants CURSED. The tour will be sponsored by Exclaim, Canada's leading music monthly. Following that run will be a welcome home to the U.S. with metal-core combos BURY YOUR DEAD and SCARS OF TOMORROW. Currently the band is in Los Angeles with acclaimed indie director Constantin Werner filming a video for the song "Keep Your Mouth Shut".

It's been a non-stop tour for TERROR, who, after completing a summer on the West Coast run of Sounds of the Underground tour, alongside LAMB OF GOD, THROWDOWN and more, headed to Japan for a headlining tour. This was the band's second foray into that country (a live set from their first time in Tokyo appears on the band's latest release, "Lowest of the Low"). That album, released on Trustkill, contains the band's first EP, as well as the live set and early 7" material.

TERROR formed when frontman Scott Vogel moved to California and hooked up with West Coast hardcore veterans to bring back the fun and fury of old school pit anthems. A 15-year veteran of the hardcore scene, Vogel took care of vocal duties in Buffalo, NY legends SLUGFEST and DESPAIR. Drawing on his vast experience with the hardcore scene and its ever changing nature, Vogel addresses issues universal to hardcore fans worldwide, regardless of subgenre divisions.
