THE 69 EYES Confirmed For Hungary's SZIGET FESTIVAL

Finland's THE 69 EYES have been confirmed for this year's Sziget Festival, which takes place between July 30 and August 6 in Budapest, Hungary. Also set to appear at the event are SLAYER, THE HELLACOPTERS, SONATA ARCTICA, MY DYING BRIDE, CLAWFINGER, APOCALYPTICA, ANNIHILATOR, CIRCLE II CIRCLE, TESTAMENT and NAPALM DEATH, among many others.

Jul. 05 - Ruisrock Festival – Turku, FIN
Jul. 13 - Tuska Festival – Helsinki, FIN
Jul. 18 – Tammerfest – Tampere, FIN (w/ AMORPHIS, POISONBLACK)
Jul. 25 - Summer in the City - Pietarsaari, FIN
Jul. 26 - Kasino - Kauhajoki, FIN
Aug. 02 - Sziget Festival – Budapest, HUN

THE 69 EYES' first-ever live DVD, entitled "Helsinki Vampires", is due in September through Gaga Goodies/EMI. It contains a full show recorded last November at Tavastia Club in Helsinki (mixed by T.T. Oksala),plus promotional clips for the following tracks:

06. Call Me

Also included will be a photograph gallery by Tobias Seeliger.

In other news, THE 69 EYES will be issuing a "best of" CD, titled "Framed In Blood - The Very Blessed Of The 69 Eyes" in September through Gaga Goodies/EMI. A Finnish tour will follow in the fall.
