VAN HALEN Singer Trio Share Stage In Boston

August 30, 2002

Former VAN HALEN frontman Gary Cherone joined fellow ex-VH singer Sammy Hagar and VAN HALEN bassist Michael Anthony for an encore peformance of VAN HALEN's Sammy-era tunes "Dreams" and "When It's Love" during the August 28th stop of the Heavyweight Champs of Rock and Roll tour (also featuring fellow ex-VH singer Dave Lee Roth) at Tweeter Center in Boston. Commented Michael, "[The Boston] show kicked ass! The tour is winding down so catch it if you can!" Anthony was once again due to be joining Sammy Hagar at Irving Plaza last night after the MTV Video Music Awards and Gary Cherone was expected to perform again as well.

In related news, Diamond Dave and the DAVE LEE ROTH BAND will be appearing live on NBC's Last Call With Carson Daly on Friday, September 13th.
