WILDESTARR Adds Drummer

April 22, 2008

WILDESTARR, the new band featuring VICIOUS RUMORS bassist Dave Starr (on guitar and bass) and vocalist London Wilde, has tapped drummer Jim Hawthorne for the recording sessions of the group's debut CD. The band comments: "Jim is an incredibly talented musician/producer/engineer and owner of Spirit Wind recording studio in Hayward, California. Not only can he play kick-ass drums... but guitar, bass, and keyboards as well. Jim was the missing piece of the puzzle that we have spent the last 12 months looking for and we are very pleased to be working with him."

The group adds, "We have begun drum track recording at Spirit Wind as of April 15. New guitar, bass, and vocal tracks will soon follow."

WILDESTARR last year posted its first song, "Generation Next", on the group's MySpace page.

Starr quit VICIOUS RUMORS "for the last time" on January 23, 2007. Dave played bass on the first five VICIOUS RUMORS albums (and was featured in several other VICIOUS RUMORS DVDs, promotional videos, and band compilations). He returned to the band in 2005 to record the "Warball" CD in 2006.
