Organic Hallucinosis
It took me a few spins to get use to the tough-guy death metal barking style of new vocalist Covan. It is such a major departure from the style of Sauron. Covan's delivery is more intelligible, though the vocal patterns can be a too samey at times (even for death metal). On the other hand, ...February 6, 2006

The Truth
More often than not a band's claims of its new album being both heavier and more melodic than a highly regarded predecessor equates to nothing more than a steaming pile of donkey dung. In the case of BLEEDING THROUGH's "The Truth", the claim is basically truthful. One could argue whether it is heavi...January 16, 2006

Before the Devil
It is not a good thing when I am dissecting the songs on a hardcore album to find anything that may make the music stand apart from the pack. The first reaction should always approximate "holy shit!" When it doesn't, you've got problems. It's not that BLACK MY HEART's "Before the Devil" is a bad ...January 2, 2006
