BITCH To Play Hollywood This Weekend

April 24, 2003

Legendary '80s Californian act BITCH, fronted by Betsy "Bitch" Weiss, will be playing a live show at The Cat Club (located next door to The Whisky A Go Go) on Saturday, April 26 at 11:30 p.m.

"It has only been a couple of weeks since we played our last gig," Betsy said in an official press release. "It wasat Johnny Foxx's in Culver City with LIZZY BORDEN. We have done several local shows lately in preparation for our show in Germany in June at the Bang Your Head Festival, where we will be playing with the likes of RONNIE DIO, TWISTED SISTER, Y&T, etc. We're reviving all of our '80s hard-core, S&M headbanging tunes for the occasion. Original BITCH members Robby Settles, David Carruth and myself have been warming up our new bass player, John Zell in anticipation of playing overseas for the first time ever! We're looking forward to playing The Cat Club this Saturday, the 26th of April, as we have not played a gig on the Sunset Strip for quite some time. So make way, Hollywood...THE BITCH IS BACK!"
