MARILYN MANSON Song Featured In 'Cold Fear' Shock Action Horror Game

February 3, 2005

IGN.com is reporting that game developers Ubisoft have just announced that they have pegged shock rocker MARILYN MANSON to contribute a song to the soundtrack for their forthcoming action/horror release "Cold Fear".

"Cold Fear" was developed in Paris, France by Darkworks and will be released on March 15, 2005. In the game players step into the role of Tom Hansen, a U.S. Coast Guard officer who is sent to board a drifting Russian whaling ship in the middle of a howling storm on the Bering Sea.

Manson will lend his song "Use Your Fist and Not Your Mouth", taken from his 2003 release "The Golden Age of Grotesque". The song will anchor the in-game soundtrack, setting the stage for the extreme terror that awaits Hansen as he arrives on the violently rocking ship's bloodstained decks.

For those unfamiliar with the track, you can visit the official "Cold Fear"web site to hear a sample excerpt of "Use Your Fist and Not Your Mouth".
