WARMACHINE Schedules Hometown Concert
January 5, 2009Toronto's WARMACHINE has scheduled a hometown concert on January 30 at the DC Music Theatre.
WARMACHINE has set "Left For Dead" as the title of its new album, tentatively due in early 2009. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Left For Dead", "We're The Chemical", "Chalklines And Bones", "Loved And Lost", "Inevitable Crash", "Alive", "A New Beginning" and "Moving On".
WARMACHINE was honored in the "Best Metal" category at the fourth annual Toronto Independent Music Awards, which were held on July 31, 2008 at The Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Also nominated were ARYA, STALINGRAD, SIN DEALER and APE.
Toronto Independent Music Awards (TIMA) recognizes the achievement of independent artists in all genres and attempts to draw new independent artists into the spotlight.
WARMACHINE's "Raw in the Hammer" DVD contains footage from the band's January 20, 2007 concert at The Underground in Hamilton, a documentary on the band's history, behind-the-scenes footage and more.
WARMACHINE's debut album, "The Beginning of the End", was released in 2006 in North America via Nightmare Records.
"The Beginning of the End" features a guest appearance on three tracks ("Betrayed", "Empty" and "Taunted Souls") by former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson.
