LINKIN PARK Concert Premiering On AOL, At Movie Theatres

April 24, 2007

Launch Radio Networks reports: A LINKIN PARK concert filmed in New York City will be webcast by AOL Music at 9:30 p.m. ET on Monday, May 14, the night before the band's new album "Minutes to Midnight" arrives in stores. The show will also be screened at selected movie theatres around the country, with an additional 30 minutes of bonus footage. Although the group is promoting "Minutes to Midnight", singer Mike Shinoda said that LINKIN PARK won't stop playing its older songs live. "We know people come to shows to see their favorite songs, you know what I mean?" he said. "It's always nice to go to a concert and hear the song that you love performed by the band that wrote it. Just because the sound of the band has changed and this record is different, that doesn't mean we won't play 'One Step Closer', 'Crawling' or any of those songs live. We're definitely gonna play those songs and as for the rest of it, we'll just see how it goes from there. We're just up there to have a good time and play some music."

LINKIN PARK taped a performance of its new single, "What I've Done", for AOL Sessions earlier this month.

The band recently issued a video for "What I've Done", which was directed by LINKIN PARK DJ Joseph Hahn.

LINKIN PARK will headline New Jersey's Bamboozle festival on May 6 and will announce details of its 2007 Projekt Revolution tour soon.
